Bio4Energy is a joint research program between Umeå University (UmU), Luleå University of Technology (LTU), the Swedish Agricultural University (SLU), Innventia and ETC. The research program is divided into seven research platforms. ETC is primarily involved in the thermochemical platform in which also the division of Energy Engineering at LTU and the division for Energy Technology and Process Chemistry at UmU participates. The research is focussed on fundamental questions connected to biomass gasification. The thermochemical platform is coordinated by Rikard Gebart.
